Studio Story

Evoking the wonder of an English country garden I can help you honour your own personal and unique favourites.

I create art from my garden studio, a converted stable in the Suffolk countryside. The village I live in provides inspiration everywhere, from wild hedgerow flowers, to tawny owls and hares. When I'm not in the studio you can find me pottering in the garden or up at our new allotment.

I paint as a meditation on the beauty of flowers and hedgerow creatures.

My signature illustration range is The Language of Flowers which pairs thrifted china mugs with cottage garden favourites. Many pieces in the range refer to the special secret meaning that the Victorians attached to our native British Flowers . I love the idea of sending a secret compliment to those you connect with, perhaps in the same way our great- grandparents would have done.

Thanks for connecting here, love Sara
