The sumptuous Hellebore forms a part of my Language of Flowers mini card series. Hellebores inspire "A Peaceful state of Mind" according to the Victorian Language of flowers. 
Here the Hellebore flowers are painted in a velvety burgundy and are arranged in a retro Scandi inspired vase from the 1960's.
Hellebore flowers in the Winter and is joined in the garden by Snowdrops, Holly and Winter Aconite which also feature in this range.
